The Leftovers is a series of textile “paintings” made with hand embroidery and sewing pieces of fabric together (appliqué). This is my first project focused more on abstraction, color and textures. Works are made out of recycled and leftover materials from my other projects. I use old clothes, textiles and sometimes other found objects such as pieces of old broken radio.
The Leffovers was shown at Rubicon ARI Gallery, Melbourne Australia 31.1. – 17.2.2024.
